By accessing or using the website and services of Genuine Outdoor Living & Landscape ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
Genuine Outdoor Living & Landscape provides outdoor construction and landscaping services including but not limited to: hardscaping, custom pools, deck construction, fencing, landscape design, earthworks, grading, drainage solutions, and outdoor living space development.
All services are provided in accordance with applicable building codes, municipal bylaws, and industry standards within our service area of Durham Region and the City of Kawartha Lakes, Ontario.
All quotes and estimates provided are valid for the period specified in the written proposal. Quotes are based on site conditions at the time of assessment. Changes in scope, site conditions, material costs, or unforeseen circumstances may result in adjustments to the quoted price, which will be communicated to you in writing before proceeding.
The scope of work will be detailed in your written proposal. Any changes to the scope must be agreed upon in writing by both parties. Change orders may affect project timeline and cost; these will be documented and approved before work proceeds on changed items.
Payment terms will be outlined in your project agreement. Typical payment schedules include deposits, progress payments upon completion of milestones, and final payment upon project completion and walkthrough. Late payments may incur charges as specified in your agreement.
We stand behind our workmanship with warranties as specified in your project agreement. Warranty coverage varies by service type and materials used and will be clearly outlined in writing. Our liability is limited to the terms set forth in your agreement and applicable Ontario law.
We carry appropriate liability insurance and comply with all applicable regulations and building codes.
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
